SkillsFuture Singapore published the inaugural Skills Demand for the Future Economy Report in 2021 with the aim of encouraging citizens:
- to be aware of global trends and in-demand skills that impact their career growth, and
- to take concrete actions to acquire the right skills.
The second edition of the Skills Demand for the Future Economy Report was launched in November 2022 to provide updated enriched quantitative analyses of priority skills for the following three key growth areas:
- The Digital Economy
- The Green Economy
- The Care Economy
In addition, the Skills Demand for the Future Economy 2022 report also examines:
- the jobs and skills associated with Industry 4.0 Implementation,
- upskilling and reskilling needs for mid-career workers, and
- an enhanced study on Critical Core Skills that individuals may need, based on the nature of their work.
